We are pleased to announce that the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo has made a presentation on green hydrogen power generation systems.
The University of Tokyo Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (Location: Meguro-ku, Tokyo / Director: Masakazu Sugiyama, hereinafter “The University of Tokyo Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology”) is promoting collaborative activities with Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Daisaku Matsuo) regarding a carbon-neutral technology hub. As part of this collaboration, the Green Hydrogen Power Generation System (G-HES) has been developed and introduced in the GREEN WALK, which is the exterior area of BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA (hereinafter, “this project”). This system has now acquired certification under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Green Hydrogen Leading User Certification System”* on October 1, 2025, which aims to promote the use of hydrogen derived from renewable energy.
G-HES is an energy system that generates electricity using green hydrogen produced entirely from solar power, utilizing technology currently under development in our laboratory.
